Alberto Pirni, associate professor of moral philosophy at the Dirpolis Institute of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, gave a lecture at the University of Luxembourg entitled “Enforcing Climate Change-Sensitive Behaviours.” The initiative, organized as part of the Jean Monnet Chair in EU Labour Law (SESaMe Project – “An Open Door Towards A Sustainable European Social Model”), coordinated by Professor Luca Ratti, aims to propose a multifaceted model to overcome the motivational gap that limits the adoption of climate change-sensitive behaviours, by addressing a taxonomy of possible motivations that can trigger or limit such practices.

Pirni also explore the role of imitative behaviour in shaping sensitivity towards climate change and corresponding behavioural responses.
